Will it fit in a container?

This is where a cheap machine turns expensive. Ocean freight for an out-of-gauge unit can move your landed cost more than the difference between two models, so we publish the loading position for every machine before you ask.

What blocks a machine from a container is the door frame, not the internal height.

A 40HQ gives you 2.698 m inside — but only a 2.585 m door opening, and after a 5 cm handling margin you are working with 2.29 m wide by 2.535 m high. Internal height is what a spec sheet advertises; the door is what the machine has to go through.

Two units go in one 40HQ, roughly half the per-unit ocean freight of a flat-rack shipment. The exact figure moves with the route and the sailing, so we quote it against your port rather than publish a number that expires.

How container shipping actually works

Choosing a size

Three questions decide it, and only one of them is about the machine.

    How much per load

    Discharge volume is what you actually buy. A machine that discharges more per cycle does fewer cycles for the same slab — but it is also heavier, wider and more expensive to ship. Size it to your typical pour, not to your largest one.

  • 02

    How it reaches your yard

    A machine that passes a standard container door ships in a box. Anything wider or taller goes on a flat rack, an open top or a roll-on/roll-off vessel, and that decision moves your landed cost more than most people expect. Every model below states its position.

  • 03

    What the ground is like

    Articulated machines pivot at the waist and turn in a shorter space, which matters on narrow rural roads and tight yards. Rigid-chassis machines steer at the front wheels. The steering type is listed on each model where the plant has confirmed it.

Tell us the port and the quantity. You get a CIF or DDP figure — machine, freight, certificate, documents — not a factory-gate price you still have to work out.
